Firmness
Mattress Firmness
When you lay down on a mattress, it feels either soft or firm. That’s what we call mattress firmness. Everybody likes their mattress to feel a certain way; some like it soft, while others prefer it firm.
To make things easier, the mattress industry uses a “firmness rating system.” It’s a scale that goes from 1 to 10. 1 being soft, and 10 feels firm to give you more support and less sinkage.
So, that scale helps you pick a suitable mattress based on how you like it to feel.
In this mattress review, let’s talk about how Helix Twilight Mattress feels!
Firmness of Helix Twilight Mattress
Helix Twilight mattress is firm and rated 8 to 9 out of 10 on the firmness scale. What makes it so sturdy is the layers it’s made of. There’s this copper gel memory foam that’s firm and supportive, along with layers of responsive foam. Beneath all that, you’ve got around 1000 steel coils individually wrapped up for extra support.
In the Elite version, the dual microcoil layers provide that extra support. Luxe mattress has targeted zoned lumbar support, while Elite Mattress has a best-in-class zoned coil support system. These are designed to support different parts of your body in specific ways.

So, what’s in these mattresses? All models of Helix Twilight mattresses are hybrid mattresses that combine foam and coils. Helix Twilight, Twilight Luxe, and Twilight Elite mattresses are made with different materials.
In this mattress review, I’ll explain how they’re put together in a way that’s easy to understand.

This layer of Twilight Elite mattress is made from Helix Responsive Foam. It’s right on top of the support base that makes sure those coils below last long and help take off the pressure from your body.
5. Support Base
At the bottom, the strong base features 8-inches of top-quality steel coils. These coils support your back and edges while you sleep. They’re really sturdy and can handle any body size comfortably.
6. Base Layer
Down at the bottom, there is a layer of DuraDense Foam. It’s the same material they use in the regular model. This foam hugs the bottom of the mattress and gives more support to those strong steel coils. It makes the whole mattress feel comfortable and deluxe.
